The Virtual Boy Nintendo Classics app, part of the Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) + Expansion Pack, has expanded its library with new titles for subscribers. Today’s update adds five games to the global version and six to the Japanese version of the app.
Subscribers to the higher-tier service, priced at $49.99 per year for an individual account, can now enjoy these retro Virtual Boy games. The regional libraries are nearly identical, with Japan receiving one exclusive title.
Global Virtual Boy Games Now Available
- Jack Bros
- Space Invaders Virtual Collection
- Vertical Force
- Virtual Bowling
- V-Tetris
The Japan-exclusive addition is Virtual Fishing, a fishing simulation game. Both English and Japanese trailers have been released to showcase the new titles.
For those curious about the exclusive game, it appears at the 52-second mark in the English-language trailer. The Virtual Boy games and compatible peripherals are accessible to all Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack members.
"Action, puzzle, sporting, and shooting games are all represented in this batch."
To access these games, players must have an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription. The service also includes other classic titles and online multiplayer features.
