The New York Giants have finalized the signing of cornerback Colton Hood, the team’s second-round selection from the 2024 NFL Draft. Hood officially inked his four-year rookie contract on Tuesday, as announced by the franchise.

With this agreement, five of the Giants’ seven 2024 draft picks have now signed their contracts. Two first-round selections—Arvell Reese and Francis Mauigoa—remain unsigned.

Hood, who was widely projected as a first-round talent, attended the draft’s first night in Pittsburgh but went undrafted in the initial round. His collegiate career at Tennessee was marked by standout performances, including:

  • 50 total tackles
  • 4.5 tackles for loss
  • 1 interception returned for a touchdown
  • 1 fumble recovery returned for a touchdown
  • 1 forced fumble
