The New York Jets have made another roster adjustment following their rookie minicamp. The team announced the signing of linebacker Jaden Keller and the corresponding waiver of linebacker Ochaun Mathis.
Keller, who was one of 31 rookie free agents to participate in the Jets' minicamp on a tryout basis, brings experience from his four seasons at Virginia Tech. Over that span, he appeared in 52 games, recording 181 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries for the Hokies.
Mathis, a 2023 sixth-round draft pick of the Los Angeles Rams, concluded the previous season on the Jets' practice squad. During 2023 and 2024, he played in 14 games combined for the Rams, New England Patriots, and Philadelphia Eagles.
