Nintendo has confirmed that the Switch 2 Choose Your Game Bundle will launch in North America in early June 2026, offering consumers a choice between three first-party games. This bundle replaces the previous Switch 2 bundle that included Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2.

The bundle, priced at $499.99, includes a Nintendo Switch 2 console and a digital download code redeemable in the Nintendo eShop. Once set up, users can select one of the following games to add to their library at no extra cost:

  • Donkey Kong Bananza – An action-adventure game
  • Mario Kart World – A racing game
  • Pokémon Pokopia – A building and collection simulation game

To claim the free game, buyers must redeem the included download code via the Nintendo eShop after setting up their console.

Upcoming Price Increase for Nintendo Switch 2

This bundle launch precedes a global price increase for the Nintendo Switch 2. In the United States, the standalone console price will rise from $449.99 to $499.99 on September 1, 2026. Nintendo has attributed the price hike to multiple factors, including:

  • AI-driven RAM shortages
  • Increased shipping costs linked to geopolitical tensions, such as the Iran war
  • US President Donald Trump’s tariffs

Nintendo has not yet confirmed whether the Choose Your Game Bundle price will also increase on the same date.
