Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo have revealed details about the upcoming free DLC update for Nioh 3, set to launch on April 27, 2026. The update introduces additional Battle Scrolls side missions tied to new rewards, focusing on endgame content and high-difficulty challenges.
Producer Kohei Shibata shared insights on the official site, confirming that the new side missions will be particularly challenging. Successfully completing these missions will grant players new skills, though the specifics of these skills remain undisclosed. The update also includes adjustments to the Stone of Penance, which will increase difficulty to enhance accessory rarities and values, alongside a rebalancing of Graces.
This free update follows a previous cosmetic release, the Thunderous Equipment Set, which offered new visuals for ninjas and warriors. This cosmetic set celebrated the game surpassing one million copies sold and the series reaching a total of 10 million sales.
Nioh 3 is available on PS5 and PC, and the free Battle Scrolls update will be accessible starting April 27, 2026.
