The New England Patriots have re-signed fullback Jack Westover to their roster. Westover signed his exclusive rights free agent tender on Tuesday, which prohibits him from negotiating with other teams. The start of the Patriots' offseason program provided an opportune moment for the formal re-signing.
Westover, who entered the NFL as a tight end, transitioned to the fullback position last year. He appeared in every game during the 2023 season, contributing with one reception in the regular season and one in the playoffs.
The Patriots bolstered their fullback corps last month by signing free agent Reggie Gilliam. The two players are now set to compete for playing time on the Patriots' offense in the upcoming season.
