The Persona 3 Reload crossover event for Persona 5: The Phantom X has been teased, with teaser trailers now live on Japanese and English social media accounts. This follows the event’s earlier appearance in the Asian release of Persona 5: The Phantom X in April 2025.

The teaser trailer features the iconic Dark Hour moon from Persona 3 Reload and includes the line,

“Good to see you again. Looking forward to working with you.”
The announcement has sparked speculation about a worldwide release.

Since the event already ran in China, players have a clear idea of what to expect. The event allows Persona 5: The Phantom X players to explore a Tartarus version based on Persona 3 Reload and pull for the gacha banner featuring protagonist Makoto Yuki.

Makoto Yuki appears as a five-star unit with the following attributes:

  • Persona: Orpheus
  • Damage Type: Fire
  • Resistance: Fire
  • Role: Assassin (DPS unit targeting single enemies)
  • Ability: Theurgy (as seen in the original game)

Gematsu previously uploaded the original Persona 5: The Phantom X trailer for the Persona 3 Reload event to YouTube.

In a recent update, Persona 5: The Phantom X introduced Phantom Thief Luce and Phantom Idol Ange, along with new storylines and events. The game is available on PC and mobile devices, with the Persona 3 Reload crossover event set to launch globally in future updates.

Persona 3 Reload is playable on Nintendo Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
