Sony’s PlayStation Plus Premium service will expand its game catalog in May 2025 with the addition of Red Dead Redemption 2, Star Wars Outlaws, and the classic arcade shooter Time Crisis.
This month’s update marks another significant lineup for Premium members, following the service’s trend of offering a mix of modern blockbusters and nostalgic titles. Red Dead Redemption 2, developed by Rockstar Games, remains one of the most critically acclaimed open-world games ever released, while Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment, continues the beloved Star Wars universe with an action-adventure experience.
Premium members will also receive Time Crisis, a classic arcade rail shooter originally released in 1995 by Namco. The game is known for its intense on-rails shooting mechanics and has since become a staple in the genre.
The additions are part of Sony’s ongoing strategy to provide value to its Premium subscribers, who gain access to a rotating catalog of games alongside cloud streaming and downloadable titles. The update is scheduled to go live on May 6, 2025.
