Ravens first-round pick Vega Ioane is unfazed by the possibility of switching positions as he begins his NFL career. Ioane, who started at left guard during his time at Penn State, shared his thoughts during the team’s rookie minicamp.
His college coaches ensured he was comfortable playing multiple positions, rotating him daily to prepare for any scenario. Ioane expressed confidence in his ability to adapt to a new role in Baltimore.
“It’s definitely a little bit of work to get used to again, but there isn’t much to it.”
Ioane has the entire offseason and training camp to settle into his position. The Ravens are likely to start him at one of the guard spots when the season begins in Week 1.
