The Baltimore Ravens have been selected to play the Dallas Cowboys in an historic international matchup in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday, September 27.

This game will be the Cowboys' first-ever international home game, as announced by the NFL on Friday night. The matchup is scheduled for Week 3 of the 2026 NFL season and will air on CBS at 4:25 p.m. ET.

While most international games are typically held in standalone windows, this matchup will share the afternoon with other games. However, it is expected to be the top national game of the day, drawing the largest audience.

In recent years, international games have often kicked off the NFL season in Week 1. For example, in 2024 and 2025, the season opener was held in Brazil. This year, the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams will instead face off in Australia to open the 2026 season.

The Ravens and Cowboys are the only two teams with confirmed international matchups so far. The NFL will announce the remaining 270 games in the coming weeks.

The Ravens have history with the Cowboys, having beaten Dallas at the original Cowboys Stadium on a Saturday night in December 2008.
