The Cleveland Browns have bolstered their secondary by acquiring pick No. 58 in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft from the San Francisco 49ers. With that selection, Cleveland drafted safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren from the University of Toledo.

Despite playing at a smaller school, McNeil-Warren established himself as one of the top safeties in this year’s draft class. Over his collegiate career, he appeared in 48 games, starting 26 of them. His production included five interceptions, 15 passes defended, nine forced fumbles, and one sack.

McNeil-Warren will continue his football journey in Ohio, as he begins his professional career with the Browns. The trade details involved Cleveland sending picks No. 70 and No. 107 to the 49ers in exchange for No. 58 and No. 152 to finalize the deal.
