Veteran wide receiver Scotty Miller is exploring opportunities with two teams in the NFC North. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Miller will take a free-agent visit with the Detroit Lions on Tuesday and is set to try out for the Chicago Bears next week.
Miller, who turns 28 this year, spent the last two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 2025, he recorded nine receptions for 62 yards while playing 20% of the offensive snaps across 13 games.
His most productive season came in 2020 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he caught 33 passes for 501 yards and three touchdowns. Since being selected by the Buccaneers in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Miller has appeared in 93 career games, including nine starts. He has accumulated 99 receptions for 1,216 yards and six touchdowns over his career.
