A man in Singapore has been arrested for allegedly leaking the full animated film 'The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender' online before its official release. The individual now faces severe legal consequences, including up to seven years in prison and a fine of $50,000.

The footage began circulating on social media in mid-April, with users sharing the complete follow-up film to the original animated series 'Avatar: The Last Airbender'. The leaked film depicts Team Avatar as young adults, set in the timeline between 'The Last Airbender' and 'The Legend of Korra'.

According to reports from The Straits Times, police confirmed that the man gained unauthorized access to restricted servers to download and leak the film. During the investigation, authorities recovered a device containing a copy of 'The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender'.

The film was originally scheduled for release on Paramount+ on October 9. The maximum penalties for the alleged crimes include seven years imprisonment and/or a $50,000 fine, as outlined by Singaporean law.
