Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is targeting a career milestone in 2025 after falling short of a 1,000-yard season for three consecutive years. Higgins, who recorded 846 receiving yards on 59 catches in 2025, last surpassed the 1,000-yard mark during the 2022 campaign.
Higgins Sets Ambitious Goals for 2025
During an interview with Rob Gregson of A to Z Sports, Higgins outlined his objectives for the upcoming season. "I'm trying to shoot for that 1,000 yards this year. I missed that the last few seasons," Higgins stated. "I'm trying to get at least 10 touchdowns. Just throwing some goals out there."
Bengals' Playoff Struggles Continue
Higgins has missed 10 games over the past two seasons due to injury, but he appeared in 15 games in 2025. Many of those outings occurred without the Bengals' franchise quarterback, Joe Burrow, whose absence has contributed to the team's offensive struggles. Despite a defensive rebuild in the offseason, Cincinnati has failed to qualify for the playoffs in each of the last three years.
The Bengals are prioritizing defensive improvements and offensive health in hopes of ending their playoff drought and achieving both team and individual success in 2025.
