Tesla has officially launched its China-made Model 3 in Canada, introducing the vehicle at its lowest price point to date. The Premium Rear-Wheel Drive variant is now available starting at $39,490 CAD, which is approximately $29,000 USD.
The new pricing reflects Tesla’s strategy to expand its electric vehicle (EV) market presence in Canada by offering more affordable options. Production for the Canadian market is sourced from the Giga Shanghai factory in China, Tesla’s largest manufacturing facility outside the United States.
This move comes as Tesla continues to optimize its global supply chain and production efficiency. The company has not yet announced additional variants or pricing for other Model 3 trims in Canada.
Industry analysts suggest that this competitive pricing could further accelerate EV adoption in Canada, where government incentives and growing consumer interest are driving demand for electric vehicles.
