The Houston Texans have reacquired defensive end Ali Gaye from the Tennessee Titans via waivers. The move was reported on Friday, following Gaye’s waiver claim by Houston.

Gaye originally joined the Texans in 2023, spending the entire season on the practice squad. After being waived by Houston in August 2024, he signed with the Titans and appeared in 15 games during the 2024 season. He also played in three games for Tennessee in 2025 before being waived again.

In his 18 total appearances for the Titans, Gaye recorded nine tackles, including three tackles for loss, and added one sack.

Now back in Houston, Gaye will compete for a role at defensive end alongside established starters Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter.
