Apple CEO Tim Cook has shared a letter with the Apple community, announcing his transition from the CEO role in September 2024. In the message, Cook expressed gratitude and reflected on his tenure.
"This is not goodbye. But at this moment of transition, I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you," Cook wrote.
As part of the leadership transition, John Ternus, Apple’s senior vice president of hardware engineering, will assume the role of CEO. Cook will transition to the position of executive chairman. Additionally, Johny Srouji, previously senior vice president of hardware technologies, has been appointed Apple’s chief hardware officer, succeeding Ternus.
