In the world of isekai anime, a common trope involves a protagonist transported to another world after being struck by a truck. Strange Scaffold is subverting this narrative with its upcoming game, Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World, where players take on the role of the truck itself.
The game is currently in development for Xbox Series X and PC, with a planned release before the end of 2026. While an exact launch date has not been confirmed, the Steam page for the game is already live.
Gameplay Mechanics and Story
Rather than playing as the protagonist who is hit by Truck-kun and sent to another world, players control the truck responsible for the event. The objective is to plow into people, vehicles, and objects to accumulate power. This power is then used to send enemies to Carissa, a former marketing VP turned elven warrior, who fights to defeat the Skeleton King and revive using the Scroll of Resurrection in her home world.
As players complete delivery tasks, missions, and cause collisions, they can view Carissa’s adventures in the other world through a small box at the bottom of the screen. Each hit contributes to her strength, filling a sword gauge that enables her to unleash powerful attacks.
Visuals and Trailers

Release Schedule and Previous Titles
This marks Strange Scaffold’s second game announcement for 2026. The first, Space Warlord Baby Trading Simulator, is a stock market simulation where players bet on the lives of alien babies to earn profits.
