President Trump continues to claim that a deal with Iran is imminent, but officials have now leaked to CNN that his public posturing has complicated and undermined ongoing negotiations.
One official stated that by ‘negotiating through social media,’ Trump implied Iran had agreed to terms ‘they hadn’t yet agreed to,’ creating additional hurdles in the talks. This revelation comes as a significant embarrassment for an administration that has repeatedly touted its diplomatic successes.
Meanwhile, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt delivered two cult-like tirades attacking the media for failing to display sufficient reverence toward Trump. In an extraordinary display of sycophancy, Leavitt praised Trump’s greatness with unbridled enthusiasm, further raising questions about the administration’s credibility and approach to governance.
