Former Chiefs and Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has reached a settlement in a civil lawsuit filed by social-media influencer Sophie Hall. The case, which centered on allegations that Hill caused Hall to suffer a broken leg during a football drill at his home, was resolved last week during the civil trial.

Hall testified in court that she was injured when Hill "charged" her during the drill. However, Hill's legal team argued that Hall "assumed any risk" of injury by participating in the activity. The settlement amount was not disclosed, as is common in civil cases.

Hill remains embroiled in additional legal disputes. He is currently facing a divorce action, in which his estranged wife's legal team has sought evidence related to past allegations of domestic violence, including a 2019 investigation into whether Hill broke his son's arm. The NFL has opened an investigation into Hill under its Personal Conduct Policy based on the allegations raised in the divorce case.

Adding to Hill's challenges, he suffered a serious knee injury during the 2025 NFL season and was released by the Dolphins in March. Despite this setback, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, has stated that Hill intends to continue playing in the NFL in 2026.
