The Minnesota Vikings have added two more candidates to their shortlist for the vacant General Manager position. According to multiple reports, the club has formally requested interviews with John McKay, the Rams' assistant General Manager, and Nolan Teasley, the Seahawks' assistant General Manager.

This brings the total number of known candidates for the role to seven:

  • John McKay (Rams assistant GM)
  • Nolan Teasley (Seahawks assistant GM)
  • Rob Brzezinski (Vikings interim GM)
  • Terrance Gray (Bills assistant GM)
  • Dave Ziegler (Titans assistant GM)
  • RJ Gillen (49ers assistant GM)
  • Chad Alexander (Chargers assistant GM)

McKay stands out as a particularly strong contender due to his prior collaboration with Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell. During their time together with the Los Angeles Rams, McKay served as the director of pro personnel while O'Connell was the team's offensive coordinator. The duo helped lead the Rams to victory in Super Bowl LVI, which capped the 2021 NFL season.
