Zenless Zone Zero Steam Release Date Revealed with 2.8 Update Details

During the 2.8 Zenless Zone Zero Special Program stream, HoYoVerse officially confirmed that the PC version of Zenless Zone Zero will be released on Steam in the near future. The launch is scheduled for Q2 2026, potentially aligning with the release of the 3.0 Season 3 update.

A Steam product page is already live, and Steam Advance Testing will be conducted ahead of the full launch. The 2.8 update is set to arrive on May 6, 2026.

Steam Version Requirements and Testing

Players will only be able to switch to the Steam version if their account is registered on the following servers:

• America
• Asia
• Europe
• Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau

Accounts on other servers will not be eligible to transfer. The Steam Advance Testing is designed to evaluate the platform’s functionality without affecting player data. Participants will retain access to their existing accounts, and all purchases will remain intact.

Rewards for Steam Advance Testing Participants

Players who sign up by May 5, 2026 and are selected for the test will receive:

• 60 Polychromes
• 30,000 Dennies

To qualify for rewards, participants must log into the Steam version for a total of five days during the testing period. Applications must be submitted via the official HoYoVerse website using a HoYoVerse account.

Zenless Zone Zero 2.8 Update Features

HoYoVerse detailed the upcoming 2.8 update, highlighting new story content, events, and characters. Key additions include:

• A new Season 2 Epilogue quest titled “New: Eridan Sunset (B)”, featuring Phaethon, Billy, Cissia, and Ramiel.
• New S-rank Agents: Starlight Billy and Promeia. Promeia will debut alongside the update, while Billy will appear mid-version with a rerun for Lucia.
• A Miyabi costume called Dignified Blossom will be available for purchase.
• A new A-Rank Bangboo named Booltergeist, obtainable through the Operation: Save Bootopia event.

Availability and Platforms
