The Atlanta Falcons have officially signed veteran offensive lineman Brandon Walton, according to Greg Auman of Fox Sports.
Walton, 28, joined the Falcons on a tryout basis during the team’s rookie minicamp. His NFL journey began in 2020 when he went undrafted out of Florida Atlantic University and signed as a college free agent with the Buffalo Bills.
After being waived by Buffalo during training camp, Walton signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad. He later joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021, where he played 15 games with two starts during the 2022-23 seasons.
Walton’s most recent NFL experience came with the Carolina Panthers, where he appeared in four games over the past two seasons.
