Social media users quickly followed suit, flocking to Buc-ee’s locations to try the treat for themselves. Mason Woodruff, a TikTok creator, posted a video reviewing the milk chocolate variety, calling it

Resellers Cash In on the OverBite Frenzy

As demand for the OverBite surges, some fans are struggling to find it in stores. On Bluesky, one user pleaded:

"Serious request, who lives near a Buc-ee’s and can ship me some of these?"

Third-party resellers, such as Texas Snax—which is not affiliated with Buc-ee’s—have already sold out of all five OverBite flavors. Meanwhile, sellers on Amazon are listing the candy for up to $23 per bar, despite its original in-store price of under $5.

The OverBite, like many of Buc-ee’s offerings, is not for the faint of heart. With its high calorie and sugar content, it’s clear why the chain recommends treating it as four servings. Despite the mixed reactions, the viral trend shows no signs of slowing down.
