Cameron Young Wins Cadillac Championship 2026 with Dominant Final Round

Young Secures Third PGA Tour Win of the Season

Cameron Young became the latest player to register multiple wins on the PGA Tour this season, following his victory as the Players Champion. The tournament, held in Miami, saw challenging conditions that mirrored those of the Miami Grand Prix, prompting organizers to implement threesomes and split tees.

Young was paired with Scottie Scheffler and Si Woo Kim. Facing the world number one did not hinder his performance. Young finished Sunday with a 4-under round, bringing his tournament total to 19-under par and defeating Scheffler by six strokes.

Self-Imposed Penalty Fails to Derail Victory

Early in his round, Young incurred a one-stroke penalty after his ball moved at address on No. 2. Despite the setback, he saved par and maintained his lead.

Young Joins Elite Group of Multiple Winners

With this victory, Young now has three total wins on the PGA Tour, including the 2025 Wyndham Championship. He joins Chris Gotterup and Matt Fitzpatrick as the only players with multiple wins this season. Young also became the second player this year to go wire-to-wire, following Justin Rose at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Young Among the World's Best

There is little doubt that Cameron Young is among the very best players in the world right now. The top tier includes Young, Matt Fitzpatrick, Scottie Scheffler, and Rory McIlroy, the two-time reigning Masters Champion. The gap between these four and the rest of the field appears significant.
