The Los Angeles Chargers are making roster adjustments following their rookie minicamp. On Tuesday, the team announced the signings of three new players: tight end Johnny Pascuzzi, safety Myles Purchase, and offensive tackle Laekin Vakalahi.
Pascuzzi, an undrafted free agent from Tulane University, joins the Chargers after going unselected in the 2024 NFL Draft. Purchase, who was also undrafted last year, has prior experience with the Chargers and the New York Giants. Vakalahi transitioned to the NFL from rugby in New Zealand through the International Player Pathway Program. He previously spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles.
In a corresponding move, the Chargers waived four players: linebacker Niles King, tight end Tanner McLachlan, cornerback Jeremiah Wright, and tight end Thomas Yassmin.
