Seth Meyers is known for his sharp humor, but on Thursday night’s episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, Charlize Theron turned the tables with her own sassy remarks. The actress visited the NBC show to promote her new Netflix film, Apex, which is currently streaming on the platform.
Throughout the interview, Meyers poked fun at Theron, including a joke about her height and how it might have posed challenges for her early career as a dancer. Theron laughed along, but the teasing took a turn when Meyers pointed out her history of injuries despite performing her own stunts.
Theron paused before firing back with a playful jab of her own: “Am I supposed to feel good in this interview?” She continued, “I just want to know what you’re — what am I —”
“And when it’s over, I do, I would like you to fill out — we would welcome a Yelp review,”
Meyers quipped, drawing another round of laughter from Theron.
Theron admitted to being accident-prone but shrugged it off, saying she’s “used to it now.” She joked that her tendency to get injured makes for great dinner conversation. More seriously, she revealed that her awareness of her accident-prone nature helps her prepare for stunts by ensuring her team is ready for the unexpected.
