How to Complete the Battening Down Quest in ARC Raiders

The Battening Down quest is one of the new challenges introduced with the Riven Tides map in ARC Raiders. To begin, accept the quest from Apollo and follow these steps to complete all three required tasks and unlock your rewards.

Battening Down Quest Overview

The quest consists of three distinct tasks, all exclusive to the Riven Tides map:

• Photograph the cracks forming in the seawall
• Fix the leaking oil pipe in the northeast
• Sample the shoreline near the hotel beach

Task 1: Photograph the Cracks in the Seawall

Travel to the location near the Wavebreaker POI on the map. A marked spot on the image below indicates the exact position. Once there, you will find a sunken container buried in the sand. Take a photo of it to complete this task.

Task 2: Fix the Leaking Oil Pipe in the Northeast

From the location of the sunken container, head right to reach the northeast area of the map. The marked spot on the image below shows where the underground pipes are partially exposed in the sand. Stand next to them and use the prompt to repair the pipeline to complete this task.

Task 3: Sample the Shoreline Near the Hotel Beach

Head to the western part of the map and locate the Hotel Complex. The exact sampling point is north of the hotel, near the beach. Refer to the image below for the precise location. Despite the name, you do not need water—instead, find the seaweed and use the prompt to scan it to complete the final task.

Once all three tasks are completed, the Battening Down quest will be finished, and you can collect your rewards.
