How to Find Necrolei Cyst in Subnautica 2

The most straightforward method to locate Necrolei Cysts early in the game is to head toward the Old Habitat, a point of interest (POI) situated directly north of your starting Lifepod.

Travel approximately 300 meters north from your Lifepod toward the Old Habitat. In this area, you’ll encounter:

  • Green and pink coral scattered across the seafloor.
  • Small green plants with blue flowers on top, known as Stilt Orbs.

Use your Survival Multitool to break these Stilt Orbs. Each broken plant yields a Necrolei Cyst. Multiple Stilt Orbs are available in this biome, allowing for easy farming of the resource.

How to Make Strong Acid in Subnautica 2

Before crafting Strong Acid, you must first unlock the Processor blueprint, which requires accessing the Old Habitat.

Enter the Old Habitat through a hole located at the base of the structure. Inside, you’ll find several broken Processors. Scan these to unlock their blueprints, enabling you to construct one at your base.

The Processor requires the following materials to craft:

  • Titanium (2 units)
  • Mild Acid (1 unit)
  • Copper Wire (1 unit)
