How to Repair the Windmill in Outbound

Step 1: Enter the Windmill and climb to the top

Start by entering the Windmill through the front door. Proceed upstairs to the next level.

Step 2: Interact with the levers

At the top of the stairs, locate a set of two levers. These control the floor above:

• Press the left lever twice to position the ladder on the upper level.

Step 3: Climb crates and flip the switch

Once the ladder is in place, climb the stack of wooden crates near the wall. Look up to find a switch high on the wall. Interact with it to flip the switch, lowering a new ladder. This ladder is initially blocked by shelves, so you’ll need to reposition it.

Step 4: Reposition the ladder using the levers

Descend the ladder and return to the levers. Interact with them to move the ladder out from behind the shelves. Pull the right lever twice to free the ladder. If you’ve moved the levers multiple times, check the ladder’s position to confirm accessibility.

Step 5: Climb the newly accessible ladder

Use the freed ladder to ascend to the next level, then climb again to reach a new area. This completes the main part of the Windmill puzzle.
