The NFL has officially announced the Thanksgiving Day matchup for Week 12, with the Dallas Cowboys set to host the Philadelphia Eagles at 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX.

This annual Thanksgiving game is consistently the highest-rated regular-season game in the NFL, regardless of the opponent. In 2025, the Cowboys faced the Chiefs on Thanksgiving Day, drawing a record 57.3 million viewers.

The Cowboys have played 58 Thanksgiving Day games in franchise history, maintaining a 35-22-1 all-time record on the holiday. Their current streak includes four consecutive victories.

Eagles' Thanksgiving History Against the Cowboys

The Eagles have participated in seven Thanksgiving Day games, with their last appearance in Arlington in 2014. In that game, Philadelphia defeated Dallas 33-10.

Prior to 2014, the Eagles and Cowboys met on Thanksgiving Day only once before—in 1989. The Buddy Ryan-coached Eagles dominated the Jimmy Johnson-led Cowboys in a 27-0 shutout, a game famously dubbed the "Bounty Bowl."
