The Dallas Cowboys have finalized contracts with their top 2024 NFL Draft selections, including safety Caleb Downs, who was taken at No. 11 overall.
In addition to Downs, the Cowboys have signed five other draft picks, bringing their rookie class closer to completion. Downs is projected to step directly into the starting lineup as a rookie, according to team announcements.
Caleb Downs was the Cowboys’ first of two first-round selections in the 2024 draft. The second first-round pick, edge rusher Malachi Lawrence, remains the only unsigned member of the draft class.
The Cowboys have also signed the following draft picks:
- Jaishawn Barham (third round, linebacker)
- Drew Shelton (fourth round, tackle)
- Devin Moore (fourth round, cornerback)
- LT Overton (fourth round, edge rusher)
- Anthony Smith (seventh round, wide receiver)
The team has now finalized contracts with six of its seven draft picks from this year’s class. The remaining unsigned player, Malachi Lawrence, is expected to reach an agreement in the coming days.
