Deezer, a leading global music streaming platform, has reported a significant rise in AI-generated music uploads, with nearly 75,000 AI songs submitted daily. This accounts for approximately 44% of all daily uploads on the platform, according to data shared by TechCrunch.

Despite the surge in submissions, Deezer notes that the actual consumption of AI-generated music remains minimal. Currently, AI songs represent only 1 to 3% of total streams on the platform. To address concerns over fraudulent uploads, Deezer has implemented measures to exclude AI-generated tracks from its recommendation algorithms and has also demonetized these songs.

The company emphasizes its role in setting an "industry standard" for managing AI content in music streaming. Deezer claims it is the only major music streaming service that actively tags AI-generated tracks, aiming to distinguish them from human-created music.
