The Kansas City Chiefs are set to honor former linebacker Derrick Johnson by inducting him into the franchise’s Hall of Fame during the 2026 season. The team made the announcement on Thursday, confirming Johnson will join the exclusive group this fall.
Johnson will be the 55th individual inducted into the Chiefs Hall of Fame. His induction recognizes his significant contributions to the team during his 13-year tenure.

Drafted by the Chiefs as the 15th overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft, Johnson spent the entirety of his 13-season career in Kansas City before concluding his playing days with one season as a member of the Oakland Raiders.
Over his tenure with the Chiefs, Johnson made a lasting impact:
- Played in 182 regular-season games and six playoff contests.
- Registered 1,154 tackles, 27.5 sacks, and 14 interceptions.
- Achieved four Pro Bowl selections and was named a first-team All-Pro in 2011.
