The Final Fantasy XIV Free Login Campaign is back for a second run in 2026, giving inactive players a chance to return and enjoy 96 hours of free gameplay. The event officially began on May 15, 2026, and will continue until June 14, 2026.
How the Free Login Campaign Works
To qualify for the campaign, players must meet the following criteria:
- Own a copy of Final Fantasy XIV (MMORPG).
- Have an inactive service account that has not logged in for at least 30 days.
- Not have played between April 15, 2026 and May 15, 2026.
- Not have violated the Terms of Service.
Once eligible, players can log in anytime between May 15, 2026 and June 14, 2026. Upon logging in, they receive a 96-hour grace period to play FFXIV for free. This period must be used consecutively—players cannot split the time across multiple days.

The current Free Login Campaign runs from May 15, 2026 to June 14, 2026. Final Fantasy XIV is available on:
- PlayStation 4
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X
- PC
The Switch 2 version of FFXIV is scheduled for release in August 2026, while the next major expansion, Evercold, is expected in January 2027 (exact date unannounced).
