Prime Video has finally released the long-awaited series finale of Good Omens, a 90-minute episode that concludes the epic comic saga after a three-year hiatus.

The finale attempts to tie up loose ends in a single, sweeping narrative. However, the first half of the episode feels chaotic and rushed due to the drastic truncation of the final season.

Spoiler-Free Recap of Good Omens

The series is based on the 1990 novel by Neil Gaiman and the late Terry Pratchett. It follows the unlikely friendship between an angel, Aziraphale (Sheen), and a demon, Crowley (Tennant), who work together to prevent Armageddon.

In Season 2, Aziraphale and Crowley return to their normal lives when the archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) suddenly appears at Aziraphale’s bookshop with no memory of his identity or past. The duo must evade both Heaven and Hell to uncover what happened to Gabriel and the reason behind his amnesia.
