The Houston Texans officially announced on Friday the signing of 12 undrafted free agents to their 90-man roster. The group features a mix of young talent and experienced players across multiple positions.
Running Backs Join the Texans' Roster
The team added two running backs to the roster:
- Josh Pitsenberger (Yale) — Rushed 313 times for 1,571 yards and 19 touchdowns in 2024.
- Noah Whittington (Oregon) — Rushed 129 times for 829 yards and six touchdowns in 2025.
The Texans also retain veteran running backs David Montgomery, Woody Marks, and Jahwar Jordan.
Defensive and Offensive Additions
In addition to the running backs, the Texans signed players at other key positions:
- Dominic Bailey (Tennessee) — Defensive tackle
- Sam Hagen (South Dakota State) — Offensive lineman
- Stephen Hall (Missouri) — Cornerback
- Sabastian Harsh (N.C. State) — Defensive end
- James Neal III (Iowa State) — Offensive lineman
- Treyvhon Saunders (Colgate) — Wide receiver
- Daniel Sobkowicz (Illinois State) — Wide receiver
- Jack Stonehouse (Syracuse) — Punter
- Jalen Walthall (Incarnate Word) — Wide receiver
- Collin Wright (Stanford) — Cornerback
