Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies adds fishing as a side activity on the Totenreich map. To participate, players must first obtain Olaf’s Cod Cranker, a unique fishing rod hidden at specific Points of Interest (POIs). Once acquired, the rod can be placed near water bodies to fish for rewards.
How to Get Olaf’s Cod Cranker in Black Ops 7 Zombies Totenreich
Olaf’s Cod Cranker is located at random POIs across the Totenreich map. Two confirmed locations include:
- Beacon Island: Near the large artillery gun, between two red barn-like houses. Interact with the rod to pick it up.
- Fishery Island: Also contains the rod, though locations may vary based on player luck.
Once you’ve found the rod, locate a fishing rod stand near water bodies. Stands are available near the zipline leading to the Lighthouse and other water-adjacent areas.
Place the rod on a stand and wait a few seconds. When the rod turns blue, interact with it to retrieve a random reward from the water. Possible outcomes include valuable items or additional zombies to eliminate.
How to Solve the Fish Easter Egg in Totenreich
In addition to fishing, players can solve a fish easter egg on the Totenreich map. The easter egg is located on Beacon Island, near the Arsenal upgrade machine.
Look for a small bucket on the wall containing a single fish. Interact with the fish to add it to your inventory. Note that this easter egg is not required to complete the Wonder Weapon easter egg for the Jotunn Star.
