In Tomodachi Life Living the Dream, every Mii you create initially lives in their own individual house. However, as you progress in the game, you can unlock the ability to have Miis live together in shared homes. This feature isn’t immediately explained, making it a challenge to figure out on your own.
How to Get Miis to Move In Together in Tomodachi Life Living the Dream
To have Miis live together, you must first strengthen their bond. Only Miis with a superb friendship or a romantic relationship have a chance of asking to move in together.
There is no direct method to force Miis to live together. Instead, you must:
- Bring the Miis you want to live together close frequently.
- Encourage them to build a strong friendship or romantic relationship.
- Ensure they reach at least the Great Friends level or higher.
When two Miis get married, they will automatically ask to move in together after the wedding, provided they aren’t already sharing a space. While this process takes time, you may also get them to move in as friends sooner.
If a Mii wants to move in with someone, they will display a Pondering bubble over their head. Clicking it reveals their desire to move in with someone. At this point, you can either agree or decline. To increase the chances of this happening, encourage the Mii by telling them it’s a good idea.
How Many Miis Can Live Together in Tomodachi Life Living the Dream?
Up to eight Miis can live together in one large shared house. Achieving this is a long-term goal, as all prospective residents must have a strong bond to share a single home.
