How to Obtain Palm Seeds in Windrose
Palm Seeds are a valuable resource in Windrose, required for various tasks. While they spawn from Palm trees, they are not found on coastal trees. Instead, you must venture deeper into the islands to collect them.
Chopping Palm Trees for Seeds
To gather Palm Seeds, chop down Palm trees located in forested areas, such as the Coastal Jungle. Coastal trees will not yield seeds, so focus on inland locations. You will need an axe, which is easy to craft early in the game.
To craft an axe, gather 3 Wood and 3 Stone, then build it at a workbench.
Harvesting Palm Seeds from Farming
An alternative method is to harvest Palm Seeds from Palm Saplings. At your base, open the building panel by pressing B, navigate to the Farming tab, and select a Palm Sapling. Place it on a suitable plot and wait for it to grow. Once mature, press E to harvest the Palm Seeds. This method ensures a steady supply without chopping trees.
How to Use Palm Seeds in Windrose
Palm Seeds serve two primary purposes in the game:
Automated Farming with Palm Seeds
After reaching Tortuga, you can set up automated farming:
- Purchase a Farming Contractor for 10 Gold.
- Assign 20 Silver Coins and 50 Palm Seeds to the contractor.
- The contractor will automatically generate resources for over 8 hours.
Decorating Your Base with Palm Trees
Palm Seeds can also be used to grow decorative Palm trees around your base. While they provide no additional benefits, they enhance the aesthetic appeal of your pirate settlement in Windrose.
