ARC Raiders' Riven Tides update introduces the Avian Alarm project, and the first task requires players to lay down a bird trap. While it may seem straightforward, the process involves locating a specific buoy on the map and setting the trap correctly.
How to Find and Set the Bird Trap in ARC Raiders
Locating the Buoy
The bird trap buoy is situated in the northern part of the Riven Tides map. To reach it, players must travel past the Port Authority Building until they reach what was once the ocean. The exact location of the buoy is marked for convenience.
Note: As of now, the buoy has only been found in this specific location, and its position remains consistent across all raid rounds.
Setting the Trap
Once at the buoy, players will find several spots where the bird trap can be placed. Select one of these locations, and the game will prompt you to set the trap. No waiting is required—once placed, the task is complete.
After setting the trap, return to Spearanza and navigate to the Projects section. The first step of the Avian Alarm project will now be marked as completed, allowing you to proceed to the next tasks.
Rewards and Next Steps
Completing the first step of the Avian Alarm project grants a few rewards, but the most valuable items are unlocked in later stages. The entire project is available for the next four weeks, giving players ample time to gather all required materials and complete the stages.
