Walter’s Treasure Notes: A Guide to Finding the Snowfell Host’s Gift

Dragon is overwhelmed, and the geodes in town want to cheer him up by giving him a cake filled with gifts. Walter, the Snowfell host, wants to join in but instead of contributing, he’s leaving the work to you. He’s hidden his gift in Duck Side of the Moon and provided two Treasure Notes—riddles that will lead you to the loot. Here’s how to solve them and claim your reward.

Treasure Note 1: Step-by-Step Solution

After speaking to Walter, you’ll receive the first Treasure Note, which reads:

“In a green cove, cozy and bright,
where hearts align, near disco lights!
Behind soft leaves, the way is near…
Walk straight through, do not fear!”

To find the cove:

  • Look for a hill with a tall building and giant pink and blue spotlights.
  • Beneath the hill, you’ll find a small entrance carved into the mountain, covered in greenery.
  • Inside the cove, blue lights will be scattered throughout the greenery.

Once inside, locate a green bush to the right of a star. This isn’t an ordinary bush—you can walk straight through it. Behind it, you’ll find:

  • A second Treasure Note
  • Walter’s Key

Treasure Note 2: Step-by-Step Solution

Hover over the second Treasure Note in your inventory to reveal its description:

“Inside the blue island, it hides…
where geodes travel far and wide!
Look to the right, beneath a tree.
A locked door for you to see!”

The key word in this clue is “travel.” The only place on the map that fits this description is the Train Station, which is also the only blue island on the map.

To find the treasure:

  • Fly to the Train Station island.
  • Look for a ledge beneath one of the island’s red trees.
  • Fly to the opening of the ledge to find a wooden door.
  • Use Walter’s Key to unlock the door.
  • Inside, you’ll find another wall—this time, a red bush that you can walk through.

Final Notes

Solving Walter’s Treasure Notes requires careful observation and following the clues step by step. The first note leads you to a hidden cove, while the second directs you to the Train Station. Collect both items and unlock the final door to claim your gift from the Snowfell Host.
