As the highly anticipated Genshin Impact 7.0 update approaches, HoYoVerse has officially announced a special showcase to preview the next major patch series. Titled "Behind the Scenes of Genshin Impact: To Snezhnaya and the Future", the event will focus on the upcoming Snezhnaya region and potential new Fatui Harbingers.

Event Details and Streaming Platforms

The showcase is scheduled to air at 5:00 AM PT / 8:00 AM ET on April 24, 2026. Viewers can watch the livestream on YouTube, where an archive will be available afterward, and on Twitch.

Unlike previous Special Program events, such as the Luna VI (6.6) showcase in March 2026, this presentation does not carry the Special Program designation. This is likely due to the 7.0 update being approximately two patches away from launch.

Focus on Snezhnaya and Future Updates

The teaser image for the event prominently features a snowy landscape and the icon for the Snezhnaya city, reinforcing the region’s prominence in the upcoming update. While the full scope of the showcase remains unconfirmed, it is expected to cover both the Snezhnaya region and potential narrative developments.

In the near term, the Luna VII update is confirmed to introduce several new characters, including:

• Nicole from Hexenzirkel
• Prune, a Hexenzirkel-adjacent character
• Lohen from the Knights of Favonius

The Luna VI update was released on April 8, 2026, leaving ample time before Luna VII’s arrival.

Genshin Impact is playable on PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices. The "To Snezhnaya and the Future" showcase will provide the first major glimpse into the 7.0 update’s content.
