Isa Briones, the star of The Pitt, has publicly criticized Broadway audiences for their disruptive behavior during her stage performance in the musical Just In Time. In a recent Instagram Story post, Briones condemned the practice of yelling at performers, calling it "f--king disrespectful."
"Hey, hey, hey! Once again, Broadway is not a circus. Do not yell whatever you want at the performers. Yelling ‘when are you going to finish your charts’ before I sing ‘Who’s Sorry Now?’ is fucking disrespectful to the performers onstage and your fellow audience members. Y’all are pissin’ me off."
Briones concluded her message with a plea for mutual respect: "Love and light and please remember you are occupying shared spaces and watching art."
Briones’ Broadway Debut and Role in ‘Just In Time’
