Comedian and actor King Bach, whose real name is Andrew Byron Bachelor, has joined forces with Creator TV to transform his existing YouTube content into a new episodic TV series. The partnership underscores a growing trend in the entertainment industry, where creators’ social media work is adapted for television.

“It doesn’t matter how many followers you have or how many views you have. There’s always somebody who hasn’t seen it,” Bach told TheWrap in an exclusive interview. He requested to be referred to as “Bach” throughout the conversation.

Bach first gained fame on Vine, the now-defunct short-form video platform launched in 2013, where his parody music videos earned widespread recognition. Though Vine shut down, Bach’s popularity endured. He continued creating short-form parodies, including viral takes on shows like Sinners and Dancing with the Stars, alongside day-in-the-life skits.

His new project with Creator TV will feature The King Bach Show, a sketch comedy series. This collaboration aligns with Creator TV’s business model, which focuses on developing creators’ previously released content into TV shows. The company has previously worked with:

  • Trey Kennedy (4.2 million TikTok followers) on the standup special Blinded by the White;
  • Jenny Lorenzo (332,000 Instagram followers) on her show Latinos Be Like.

Both Kennedy’s and Lorenzo’s works, originally confined to social media, are now available on Sling TV.

King Bach’s Partnership Reflects a Larger Trend in FAST Streaming

Bach’s collaboration with Creator TV is part of a broader movement in free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) platforms. Samsung TV Plus hosts multiple creator-focused channels, including those dedicated to Mark Rober, Dhar Mann, Michelle Khare, Smosh, and The Try Guys. Tubi has also embraced this trend, featuring content from creator-focused channels like Jubilee Media, Kinigra Deon, and Good Mythical Morning, while also producing original series.

Even companies dedicated to repackaging children’s YouTube content into TV-ready shows have emerged. Pocket.watch, for example, has developed series from creators like Ryan’s World and KidCity, with streaming partners including Hulu and Peacock.

Now, King Bach is receiving the same treatment. Charlie Ibarra, co-founder and head of content at Sabio’s Creator TV, explained the approach to TheWrap: “We’re really adapting and producing the work into a series where the episodes connect thematically.” For Bach, this means viewers can expect episodes centered on his signature dating sketches as well as parody-focused content.

The series will be available on FAST platforms, including Plex, Sling Freestream, and LiveTVx.

From Poker Championship to TV Deal: How the Partnership Formed

Bach’s partnership with Creator TV materialized rapidly. In December, he finished in second place at the inaugural Creator Poker Championship in Las Vegas, an event hosted by the World Poker Tour and Creator TV. It was during this event that Bach connected with the Creator TV team, leading to their collaboration.

“I’ve been in this game for over a decade,” Bach said. “Working
