Bandai Namco has announced a new line of merchandise based on the Kirby’s Dream Buffet spin-off, introducing keychains featuring the iconic pink character and his friends. The collection includes eight distinct designs, each sold in blind-bag packages paired with a chocolate strawberry cookie.
The keychains will be available in Japan starting May 2026, with each package priced at 350 yen (~$2). While no global release window has been confirmed, past Kirby merchandise from Bandai Namco has previously appeared on their Amazon Japan storefront.
Kirby’s Dream Buffet Keychain Variants
The lineup features eight unique keychains:
- Four plain Kirby variants, including pink Kirby with whipped cream or a burger on his head.
- Two Keeby variants in yellow and chocolate brown, presented upside-down and embedded in whipped cream.
- Two strawberry-themed Kirbys, one pink and one mint green.
- Meta Knight and Waddle Dee, both depicted sitting in whipped cream.
Each package includes a cookie with a chocolate strawberry coating, a nod to the game’s strawberry-collecting mechanic.
Previous Kirby’s Dream Buffet Merchandise
While Kirby’s Dream Buffet is a minor spin-off, it has inspired a variety of merchandise, including watches and plush toys. The game itself remains available on the Nintendo Switch worldwide.
No details have been shared regarding a potential North American release for the keychains. Stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available.
