Looksmaxxing influencers like Braden “Clavicular” Peters and Androgenic are no strangers to extreme measures in their pursuit of physical perfection. From face-smashing with hammers to using livestock steroids, their methods have long raised eyebrows. But what do these influencers turn to when they step out for a night on the town?
Behind the Scenes of Looksmaxxers’ Nightlife
A recent Vanity Fair investigation peeled back the curtain on the drug habits of these influencers, revealing a cocktail so dangerous it reads like a one-way ticket to the emergency room. The report highlights a culture where experimentation with substances is normalized, often with little regard for long-term health consequences.
Braden “Clavicular” Peters, a prominent figure in the looksmaxxing community, has openly discussed his use of methamphetamine to suppress appetite. However, he claims to avoid “street meth,” opting instead for what he describes as controlled experimentation.
Androgenic, another influential figure in the space, takes it a step further with a concoction he calls “the pentastack.”
The Pentastack: A Five-Drug Cocktail
Androgenic’s pentastack consists of the following substances:
- Adderall (a prescription stimulant)
- Dextromethorphan (a cough suppressant found in over-the-counter medicines)
- Pregabalin (an anti-seizure and nerve pain medication)
- Ketamine (a dissociative anesthetic)
- BDO (1,4-Butanediol) (an industrial solvent with effects similar to Rohypnol, a notorious date rape drug)
According to Vanity Fair, BDO mimics the effects of Rohypnol, a drug infamous for its use in sexual assault. The combination of these substances creates a potent and unpredictable mix, raising serious concerns about the health risks involved.
Hospitalization and Unrepentant Attitudes
Androgenic’s pentastack isn’t just theoretical. Reports indicate that he was on stream with Peters the night Peters was rushed to the hospital in an apparent overdose. While Peters later claimed to be taking a break from mind-altering drugs, it remains unclear whether he has maintained this abstinence.
Rather than heeding warnings, Androgenic has doubled down on his controversial lifestyle. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he fired back at critics, arguing that mainstream society’s drug use is far more toxic than his carefully curated stack.
“People will literally be drinking ALCOHOL, one of the most physically and mentally toxic drugs, and God forbid combining it with COKE which metabolises into cocaethylene and increases cardiac arrest risk 9 fold, and be shittalking my high IQ healthy sustainable drug stack.”
— Androgenic, in a post on X
He added, “Usually I add LSD though.”
No Signs of Slowing Down
Despite the obvious dangers, the looksmaxxing community shows little sign of abandoning these extreme practices. The allure of rapid physical transformation—whether through steroids, face-altering procedures, or reckless drug use—appears to outweigh concerns about long-term health.
For outsiders, the lifestyle of these influencers serves as a stark reminder of the lengths some will go to in pursuit of an idealized appearance. For the influencers themselves, the risks seem secondary to the perceived rewards.
