Marvel Studios will return to San Diego Comic-Con’s Hall H in 2026, TheWrap has exclusively learned. The company will occupy its traditional Saturday night slot, marking a significant presence after skipping Hall H in 2025.
The studio will also have a substantial footprint on the convention floor in San Diego. Additionally, Marvel Studios is expected to make an appearance at D23 in Anaheim this August, further solidifying its busy 2026 schedule.
Marvel’s Hall H History and Upcoming Panel
Marvel Studios’ last Hall H appearance was in 2024, where it revealed Robert Downey Jr.’s role as Victor Von Doom in Avengers: Doomsday. The Russo brothers will direct both Avengers: Doomsday (2026) and Avengers: Secret Wars (2027).
The upcoming Hall H presentation will precede the release of Avengers: Doomsday in December, serving as a pivotal moment for the MCU. The sequel promises a return of fan favorites like Downey and Chris Evans, while also signaling the start of a new era leading up to Secret Wars.
Hall H, Comic-Con’s largest venue, has long been Marvel’s platform to energize fans and generate excitement for upcoming projects. The Doomsday panel is expected to continue this tradition.
Record-Breaking Campaign for Avengers: Doomsday
Marvel Studios launched its Doomsday campaign in March 2025 with a five-hour, record-breaking livestream announcing the cast. The campaign gained further momentum in December 2025 and January 2026, when four individual teasers were attached to Avatar: Fire and Ash. These teasers amassed over a billion views online.
The countdown is now on for two major releases: Avengers: Doomsday on December 18, 2026, and the re-release of Avengers: Endgame on September 25, 2026. Additionally, Marvel Studios and Sony will release Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31, 2026.
