Microsoft has announced a major leadership reshuffle, placing Ryan Roslansky, CEO of LinkedIn, in charge of a newly formed Work Experiences Group. This group will oversee Microsoft’s Office and Teams divisions, expanding Roslansky’s responsibilities beyond his current role.
The restructuring comes as Rajesh Jha, executive vice president of Microsoft’s Experiences and Devices Group, prepares to retire after more than 35 years with the company. Jha has led key divisions including Windows, Office, Copilot, and Microsoft 365, shaping Microsoft’s productivity and platform strategies during his tenure.
Under the new structure, the Microsoft Teams organization will now report directly to Roslansky. This move centralizes leadership for Microsoft’s core productivity and collaboration tools under a single executive, signaling a strategic shift in how the company manages its work-focused software ecosystem.
Microsoft has not yet provided additional details about the long-term implications of this reshuffle or whether further leadership changes are expected in the near future.
