The New Orleans Saints officially signed undrafted rookie wide receiver Brock Rechsteiner on Monday, according to a report by Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football.
Rechsteiner made a strong impression during a tryout at the team’s rookie minicamp, securing a roster spot in the process.
Family Legacy in Wrestling
Rechsteiner comes from a wrestling family with deep ties to the WWE. His father, Scott Rechsteiner, wrestled under the names Scott Steiner and Big Poppa Pump and is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame. His uncle, Rick Steiner, was his father’s longtime tag team partner.
Brock’s first cousin, Bronson Rechsteiner, currently competes in WWE under the ring name Bron Breakker.
Dual Career Aspirations
“I want to do football as long as I can. Once that’s done, I will pursue wrestling.”
Rechsteiner shared this ambition in an interview with Rod Walker of nola.com.
College Career Highlights
In the 2025 season at Jacksonville State, Rechsteiner recorded 36 receptions for 383 yards and five touchdowns. His performance earned him an invitation to the Titans’ rookie minicamp the previous week before joining the Saints’ camp and earning a roster spot.
